Area code · Tennessee
Where 615 is, the cities it covers, its time zone and its overlay. And how to get a 615 number your AI agent answers.
Area code 615 was split from Tennessee's original code, 901, in 1954. Area code 423 split off in 1995 and 931 in 1997, leaving 615 with Nashville and the counties around it. The 629 overlay arrived in 2015, so local calls need all ten digits.
