Crulon charges per seat. Each seat comes with a phone number, and your team’s own calls and texts are included, subject to fair use. The one thing that’s metered is AI minutes: the time an AI agent is holding a call.
Each plan gives the whole workspace one pool of AI minutes a month, however many seats you have: 60 on Starter, 150 on Pro and 300 on Scale.
One call, second by second
A caller rings your main number on a Tuesday evening. They hear your phone menu, the call rings your team, nobody’s free, so the AI agent picks up. It answers their question, then hands them to Dale, who takes it from there.

The caller was on the phone for 8 minutes 20 seconds. The agent held the call for 2 minutes 50 seconds of that, so the call used 3 AI minutes.
What counts
- The agent on the call: talking with the caller, listening, and looking things up with the Tools you’ve given it.
- The handoff ring: while your team’s phones ring, the agent stays with the caller, so that time counts, up to the ring time you set. It’s 30 seconds unless you change it.
What doesn’t
- Phone menus and recorded messages.
- Ringing your team before the agent picks up.
- Your team’s own talk time, once someone answers. That’s part of the seat.
Rounding, once per call
AI time is added up across the whole call, then rounded up once to the next whole minute. A call where the agent holds the line for 2 minutes 50 seconds is 3 AI minutes, whether that was one stretch or three.
When the pool runs out
Past the pool, the agent keeps answering at 25¢ a minute, paid from a prepaid wallet you top up in Crulon.
If the minutes are gone and the wallet has less than 25¢ in it, new calls skip the agent and take the route you set in the Call Flow, like ringing your team or going to voicemail. Those calls aren’t billed. A call that’s already with the agent finishes normally; nobody gets cut off mid-sentence.
Working out what you’ll use
Multiply the calls the agent answers in a month by how long it holds each one. A hundred calls at a minute and a half each is 150 AI minutes, which is Pro’s pool. Calls the agent hands over quickly use less; calls it handles start to finish use more.
You can see every call’s AI time in Crulon, so after the first month you won’t need to guess.
