Sonar, on every support call.

Connect Sonar and the AI agent finds the caller's account, reads the balance live, takes a payment with the card on file and opens the ticket in Sonar. Part of the Telco Ops Bundle.

Telco Ops Bundle.

Connect it with one token.

Paste an API token from Sonar, under My Account and API keys, and your Sonar address. Crulon checks the connection before it saves.

Then it copies your accounts every hour, with a full pass once a day. You can change how often, or run a sync yourself.

It knows who's calling.

Each Sonar account becomes a contact in Crulon, with every number on the account and whose it is. The agent matches the number the caller rings from, or finds them by account number when they call from somewhere else.

Sonar's own fields come with it: service address, services, account groups, next bill, and a link straight back to the account.

On the call, in Sonar.

Look up customer, Check balance and billing, Take a payment and Create ticket are Tools the agent uses while the caller talks.

The balance is read from Sonar as they ask, not from the last copy: amount due, open invoices, the next bill, autopay and the cards on file.

Payments, read back first.

The agent charges a card already saved in Sonar. It's told to read back the amount and the card's last four digits and wait for a yes, and it can't charge until it marks that the caller agreed. Crulon never takes a card number.

Payments stay off until you turn them on. Sonar emails the receipt to the address on the account.

Payments

Let the AI agent read balances and charge a card the customer already has on file in Sonar.

Allow the AI agent to charge cards on file

Crulon never collects card numbers. The agent can only charge a card already saved in the billing system, and is told to confirm the amount with the caller first.

Email the customer a receipt

Sonar sends the receipt to the email on the account.

Who the agent may discuss an account with, and what it must verify first, is set in the agent's prompt.

The ticket lands in Sonar.

Turn on ticket push and every ticket the agent opens is created in Sonar, in the ticket group you choose, then closed there when it's closed in Crulon.

You can also file a Call Summary ticket after every answered call, with the summary, the caller and how long it took.

Create a ticket at the end of every call

After each answered call from a customer linked to this app, file a low-priority Call Summary ticket with the call summary, caller and duration.

Add a device App to restart the router.

Sonar brings each account's equipment into Crulon with its MAC address, IP address and last known status. To check a device live and restart it from the call, add one of these. All come in the same pack.

  • UISP

    Devices

Checks the subscriber's equipment and restarts it from the call.

  • Cambium NetworkscnMaestro

    Devices

Checks the subscriber's equipment and restarts it from the call.

  • NokiaCorteca

Checks the subscriber's equipment and restarts it from the call.

  • TP-LinkTAUC

Checks the subscriber's equipment and restarts it from the call.

You stay in charge.

Sonar only does on a call what you've turned on.

  • Off until you turn it on

Payments and ticket push start off. Copying accounts into Crulon is the only thing on from the start.
  • Read back before it charges

The agent is told to read back the amount and card and wait for a clear yes, and can't charge until it marks that the caller agreed.
  • Every action in Activity

Each lookup, balance read and payment is logged with who started it, and exports to CSV.
  • Texting consent carries over

Each number's texting consent in Sonar feeds Crulon's opt-out list.

Questions about Sonar and Crulon.

What do I need to connect Sonar?

An API token from Sonar (My Account, then API keys) and your Sonar address with /api/graphql on the end, over HTTPS. Sonar comes with the Telecom Connector Pack in the Telco Ops Bundle.

How up to date is what the agent sees?

Accounts are copied every hour, with a full pass once a day, so a new account is recognised within the hour. The balance, invoices and cards are read from Sonar live during the call. If Sonar doesn't answer, the agent uses the last copy and knows how old it is.

Can the agent take a payment?

Yes, with a card already saved on the account in Sonar. The agent is told to confirm the amount and the card with the caller before it charges. Payments are off until you turn them on, and Sonar emails the receipt to the address on the account.

What does Crulon write to Sonar?

Only what you turn on: tickets, created and closed, and payments. It doesn't change accounts, services or billing settings.

Can it restart a customer's router?

Not through Sonar alone. Sonar supplies the equipment; a device App (UISP, Cambium cnMaestro, Nokia Corteca or TP-Link TAUC) checks it and restarts it. All four are in the Telecom Connector Pack.

Which plan is it on?

The Telco Ops Bundle: $499 per workspace a month, with up to five seats, 1,000 pooled AI minutes and all eight ISP Apps. It's set up with you after a demo.
